Internet Based Applications

Internet based applications enable customers to operate a number of location-based services without the need to install specialist infrastructure. A wide range of Internet based applications are written using Java™ enabling all required software to be downloaded from our server. Typical differentiators, which would determine if a customer could utilise Internet based applications, include:

• Applications where cost effectiveness is paramount
• Fleet management of small to medium fleets (typically less than 10)
• Applications with no 'special' data security and or confidentiality requirements
• Applications where Infrequent use is required (e.g. most home applications)
  

The use of Java™ enables a cross-platform capability for customers which means that you do not have to have a specific operating system or browser to use the Internet Tracking system. This also allows updates to be instantly available without the need to reinstall the software.
