10GHz QSO 96km VK2GOM/P to VK2DAG/P Our first 10GHz QSO of the day on the new monthly microwave activity days. Good signals both ways. 200mW from my homebrew Kuhne transverter to my 65cm offset dish with home-made 10GHz feed from a satellite TV LNB casing. A little windy at my end, and towards the end of the day a howling gale at my end! The dish tripod was held down with bush rocks, and fortunately didn't go over this time, but it nearly took off at one point!
