Introduction
Satellite delivered multimedia has become an established service in the USA, Korea and Japan while Europe is foraying ahead in developing this technology to enable new application in this area. The evolution of satellite technology has led to the exciting possibility of providing multimedia communications to people on the move via satellite and several systems are in advanced stages of implementation.
New technical standards have been developed in ETSI and DVB to be published with associated guidelines by May 2008 hence setting the scene for new implementation and applications by 2009.
About this event
This exciting forum will provide the perfect platform for discussing path-breaking technology, implementation of new standards and the challenges associated with their potential applications for Mobile Multimedia via Satellite.
