Hi mate,  I got an email from a company the other day asking me if I was interested in a position but cant get the wife to relocate ive copied and pasted the content for you. Hope this helps you out.

Dear Darren,

I have come across your details on Jobsite and I am keen to establish whether you, or anyone you know with similar skills in Vsat technologies would be interested in a permanent Field Engineer position permanently based at my client’s EMEA HQ in Aberdeen, Scotland? My client is a global, market leading satellite communications company and they are looking to recruit a strong engineer with hands-on satellite communications experience and experience with Vsat systems (ideally SeaTel or iDirect) This role requires substantial offshore and international travel maintaining, implementing, installing and troubleshooting Vsat infrastructures at customer locations around the world. This role is paying £30,000 with up to £260 per day offshore allowance, overtime, expenses and benefits (pension, health care, bonuses, etc)

Please could you let me know whether this is of interest to you and if not, let me know what your circumstances are and pass my details on to colleagues/ friends.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Magnus Wikström

Hi mate,

I am currently in telecoms for a large mobile phone company, I have installed vsat systems for the past 5 years, With your back ground in vsat and telecoms and I don't think you should have a problem. Give that guy a shout and see what he can offer you. I would expect the company they are recruiting for is caprock communications give them a try as well they love guys from the forces.

good luck mate

Kind regards

Darren

Hi mate tryed replying to your post but still not come up on here. I have vsat installation experience aswell as telecoms. The vsat jobs on rigs I think are managed by the guys that sell the service and install the equipment, you could try Caprock communications they are a major player in the industry and I think thats the company my above email was for. Good luck mate let us know how you got on.
