Hi, as you can see from our tutorial on Satellite Frequencies (click here), the frequency range of C Band is different to that of Ku Band. Ku Band is a higher frequency range.
 
C Band is between 4 and 8 GHz and Ku Band is between 12 and 18 GHz.

whatis difference b/w 70 and 140 MHz IF frequency usage

70 Mhz is becoming an older legacy IF frequency and the more modern newer IF frequency is 140 MHz. Apart from that they are both IF frequencies which are converted up to and down from the RF frequencies. The Local Oscillator (L.O.) frequency for conversion will also be different depending on the IF.
