I'm looking to recruit an MSc or PhD SATCOMS/Satellite research person to work as part of an advanced mobile/satellite comms modelling team on a brand new UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) Programme. The role will suit an academic or someone who has worked on SATCOM research projects before and will compliment specialists already in place have who have terrestrial communications experience both static and mobile/mobile IP expertise. The SATCOM elements are an essential to success of the project, enabling communication links with the UAV regardless of location and conditions.

 

Which UK based Universities/ Academic Research Establishments produce exceptional PhD/ Doctorates specialising in SATCOMS/ Satellite Communications Technologies?

Hello, the obvious University would be Surrey? (Surrey Satellite)  There are very few universities that I know of that would specialise solely in Satellite technology, you may be better off looking in industry for experience rather than academic qualifications?
