Sophisticated small satellites from Surrey!

About this event

The talk will provide an introduction to small satellites, “the PC computers of space”, and cover some of the highlights of the 30+ small satellite missions which Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL) have launched to date, including updates on the status of the Disaster Monitoring Constellation, the Giove-A navigation satellite mission, and the RapidEye constellation. The future applications of small satellites, including potential science, communications, and Earth observation missions will also be discussed.
