Hi

Can you help me with completing this exercise step by step with all the calculations

System parameters:
- frequency of operation = 42 MHz
- transmitter power output = 160watts
- reciever and transmitter antenna gains are equal
- transmission path loss = 187dB
- receiver threshold = -108dBm
- minimum S/N margin required =15dB

Question
- complete the link budget and determine the antenna gain.

Hi,

I had a look at the Beginners Guide to Link budgets and i read through the article. I now want go through this exercise of calculating the link budget and getting the antenna gain using the above example.
